Training services are now available for Oil & Gas companies in Iraq. The services are now available for open Public Courses in Erbil as well as for bespoke in-house courses specific to the needs of the Client, to be run anywhere in Iraq or UAE.

Al-Gharraf Automotive Services Company, a subsidiary of Al-Gharraf Oil Services Co. and a member of Numerus Group of companies. Our operation is located inside the North Rumailah Field. Our objective is to provide world class Repair and maintenance services for vehicles and heavy machinery of all kinds inside the North Rumailah Field. We have an 800 square meter garage equipped with the latest tools, equipment and technology and manned by well trained and highly qualified engineers and technicians. Our mission is to allow our clients focus on your work in the field while we take care of their fleet of vehicles and machinery. We are not associated with any major IOC or Oil Service company and, being centrally located in North Rumailah, on the main camps strip, we allow our customers to avoid the cost and loss of type associated with transporting your vehicles and machinery outside Rumailah for repairs and maintenance.

Our services include:

• Regular scheduled service.
• Engine, gearbox overhauling
• Suspension and brakes repair.
• Windshields replacement for soft skin and armored vehicles.
• A/C Repair.
• Car Wash facility.

We use Manufacturer recommended computer software for diagnostics and OEM spare parts, lubricants and oils in our service and maintenance operations.

We have several options available to suit your demand for services and maintenance:

Option One – Full Coverage Plan: Comprehensive plan to cover your vehicles against all kinds of mechanical breakdowns including labor and parts against fixed monthly payment. This option also covers periodical service including oil and filter changes.

Option Two – Regular Maintenance Plan: We provide regular maintenance (oil and filter changes) for your fleet against fixed monthly payment but do repair work on case by case basis.

Option Three – Walk in Service and Maintenance: We service and repair your vehicles on case by case basis.

AL Gharraf currently provides a host of camp life support services to IOC’s and multinational oil & gas service companies. This is applicable to both base camps and remote rig camps. The services details are as follows;

Al-Gharraf provides skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled Iraqi manpower, trained and experiences as part of drilling teams on several rig sites. Our service includes recruitment, basic training, supply of PPE, transportation to and from site locations and a full payroll service including tax, social security filings and insurance provision.

Al Gharraf brings forth qualified training services to the petroleum industry. The ‘BP Advanced Well Control’ and ‘Shell Operational Well Control’ courses are aimed to enhance the knowledge of the professional drilling and engineering staff of client companies.

Al Gharraf’s energy conservation & resource protection services include the supply, management, supervision and installation of ; Industrial Hot, Cold & Acoustic, Insulation, Scaffolding, Refractory, Rubber lining, Fireproofing, Sandblasting & Painting, Acid Proofing, Corrosion Resistant Treatment, Waterproofing, Electrical Heat Tracing, Specialized Lining and Installation of cold store / warehouses and maintenance services.

Al Gharraf brings forth a mobile valve testing facility which will shortly be deployed in the Basra area and in the coming months, a warehouse and a full testing as well as valve repair and maintenance operation will be established.

Al Gharraf’s sister company Al Saqir Express Cargo (ITN- Iraqi Transportation Network) provided a unique transportation and logistics service across Iraq. Al Saqir is the first Iraqi operated land transportation company to serve and deliver commercial ground transportation between Jordan Kuwait and Iraq and within Iraq by Iraq owned and operation equipment. The company delivered high quality reliable and cost effective transportation services. At peak, Al Saqir commanded 2,300 vetted Iraqi drivers and 1,600 flatbed trucks, low boys, and fuel tankers in Iraq whilst meeting stringent quality and security as well as HSE prerequisites.

In collaboration with Al Makahi Al Iraqia (a sister company Al Gharraf). Al Gharraf introduces the Second Cup Coffee houses to both base and rig camps. This is an unprecedented service done by the catering division in Basra. The Second Cup locations currently offer the franchises’ signature coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
